Phil Lersch led the A’s in scoring (200 pts) and won the NCO scoring title (95 pts), too. He had games of 25 and 21-points against Mansfield. The Orange and Black Varsity and Seconds both defeated Mansfield twice to run their two-year string to eight wins over the Red and White. Maurice Johnson, who scored 106 points, was lost as a mid-year graduate. Lersch and Don McEntire were named 1st team NCO. Johnson was 2nd team and Clayton Mundorf honorable mention. The home court was the new East Main Armory, which still stands next to Osborn Elementary School.
