Jody Peters took over as head coach and his team won 15 games, the OHC crown, and the Sectional title. The A’s earned the OHC co-championship in an emotion win over Lexington at Arrow Arena behind Bryan Murvine’s 25-points. The Sectional championship came on the unforgettable tipped-pass from Jeremy Anderson to maybe Bryan Murvine’s fingertips at the buzzer. Murvine was OHC Player of the Year with 455 points, which moved him to 5th on Ashland’s all-time list (986 pts). Randy Harding, the Co-MVP and also 1st team OHC, hit 40 trays and had a 10.5 ppg average. He led the team with the best free throw shooting (85%). Chris DeLong and Jeremy Anderson received the Most Improved awards. The injured Tim Seder, also Mr. Hustle, was recognized for his heart and motivational example.
