The Sidle brothers led the “Arrows” to a Sectional championship and two wins over Mansfield. Ken Sidle, who was picked to the 3rd team All-Ohio, set the single game record with 38-points against Crestline and the season total with 450 points. Coach Taylor had returning four lettermen:  Gene Sidle (257 pts), Jim Roseboro (227 pts), Jim Dilgard (172 pts), and Bill Cooper (106 pts). It was Ashland’s 14th straight double-digit winning season.
