After a fine regular season of 15-3 and winning every home, plus two wins over Mansfield, the Arrow cagers were upset in the opening tournament game by that “Tyger jinx” again. Capt. Dave Brubaker paced the A’s 397 and his career total of 911 moved him to fourth place behind the Messner brothers and Ken Sidle. The rest of the starting line up was: Jon Miller (310 pts), Jim Diffendorfer (242 pts), Mike Lindsey (155 pts), and Larry Brockway (133 pts). They had the third best offensive unit in AHS history.
