It was the first year of a new gym, now known as Arrow Arena, and the first Cardinal Conference championship. The dedication night was the Toledo Clay game, and the crowd was estimated at 1,800 spectators. It was the third time AHS had opened their new gym with a win. Eleven games were decided by five points or less and six of them were losses. Jim Bear was the leading scorer with 295-points, and followed by Bruce Stefan (219 pts) and Larry Seidner (217 pts). |
