A new coach Jim Barr, but it was the same old record the sixth straight CCC. However March madness was still the same tune another one-point overtime loss to Mansfield. A scintillating 33-point performance by Joe Burns could only bring home the Sectional runner up trophy at the AU gym. The season scoring by the starting quintet was Burns (267 pts), John Marquette (216 pts), Bob Beer (214 pts), Steve Strine (152 pts), and Doug Hess (143 pts). Coach Barr’s top subs were Brad Follett and Kim Shaffstall.
