The Arrows won the Sectional championship (for the 14th time) at Ashland College against a Tiffin Columbian team coached by Doug McDonald. The A’s, also, had traveling wins at Mansfield Senior and the CC Champs New Philly. Don Hostler led the team in scoring (265 pts), and John Smith (243 pts) led the team in rebounds (211 boards). The other starters were: Doug Cheadle (241 pts), Ronnie Jones (141 pts), and Kim “Deacon” Poole (133 pts).
