With one letterman and no senior starters the Arrows could only tie for last in the Cardinal Conference, but they did win four of the last seven games. Again Mansfield ended the tournament trail. Junior letterman Rosey Robinson led the team in scoring with 341 points. But he was just second-team All-CC. Tom Roberts led the A’s in rebounds with 178 boards. Rosey received the Times Gazette MVP award at the banquet, and Dick Messner, Grace College AD and coach, who still held the AHS career record back in 1948, was the banquet speaker.
