A senior-laden team won the 5th straight CCC and the Sectional title, too. MVP Randy Emmons had 333 points, and Sherm Jones (251 pts and 12.5 ppg) had the only other average in double figures. Center Fred Gorgas had the best free throw percentage (68%) and Rick Emmons was 3rd in scoring (169 pts). Playmaker Bill Miller had 79 assists and 132 points. Coach McDonald ended his successful tenure with a 71-14 record, four CC crowns, and three Sectional championships.
