The Orange and Black won the Sectional championship for the 15th time in AHS history. John Smith’s brilliant career ended on a 33-point night in the District at BGSU against Findlay. His career numbers were 814 points and 599 rebounds. The scoring totals for the season were: Big John (326 pts), Deacon Poole (277 pts), Jim Hess (194 pts), Ronnie Jones (168 pts) and Mike Marquette (167 pts). Outstanding ball handler Ronnie Jones had 168 assists for the season.
